SATS refers to the statements by the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (“GACA”) in connection with suspension of flight operations at King Khalid International Airport (“RUH”).
Our cargo operations at RUH have been temporarily suspended and will resume once GACA authorises the resumption of flight operations at RUH. During this period, SATS will maintain operational readiness in advance of the reopening of flight operations at this location. The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority. We are in regular contact with our staff based in RUH, including our Singapore-based employees deployed there, and can confirm that they are safe.
As the situation on flight disruptions and suspensions in operations evolve, we will continue to adjust our operations and leverage SATS’ global network to minimise disruptions to customers. SATS will work closely with airline and logistics partners to facilitate the safe handling, storage and onward movement of cargo as routes and schedules evolve.
