As a Customer Service Agent, Senior Duty Manager, Siti Noryani, specialises in taking care of people and doing her best to provide them with what they need.
In 2014, after seven years at SATS-Creuers Cruise Services, she said yes to an opportunity to further her career.
Today, she continues to serve with pride and passion at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS), Singapore’s purpose-built international cruise terminal. Together with the operations team, her daily mission is to facilitate smooth port operations and seamless guest experiences for all cruise passengers who travel through MBCCS.
Developing a soft spot for her work
The passion and dedication of individuals like Siti has contributed significantly to MBCCS’ success in being the first choice home port for international cruises within Southeast Asia.
I enjoy making friends with international crew members on board cruise ships and working alongside key stakeholders like the cruise lines and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. I have many fond memories especially of the first and last calls of the cruise season. To me, it’s always a poignant moment to wave off ships leaving the port as we wish her passengers a safe voyage.
