SATS signs MOU with TLL to bring Singapore's home-grown food innovations from the laboratory to the table

Temasek Rice, an improved rice variety developed by TLL researchers, cooked into chicken rice. Locally farmed fish species known as jade perch, prepared as Ikan Pedas. Singapore-grown high-nutrition tomatoes, served in a fresh salad. All developed from TLL's research pipeline, all prepared by SATS' culinary team.

Singapore imports over 90% of its food. Building a more resilient food system, one that grows what we can grow and uses what we can use, is a national priority. This collaboration is SATS' contribution to that agenda.

TLL brings the science. SATS brings the scale. Together, we are exploring what it takes to bring Singapore-grown food innovations to the consumer — reliably, nutritiously, and at scale.
